VERMONT, N.Y. — Are you a
Vermonter that loves to fish, but doesn't have a fishing license? Well this
weekend you cast a line, without having to worry.
Saturday is Free Fishing
Day in the state, which means you can legally fish in any of the nearly 300
lakes or thousands of miles of streams.
According to Vermont Fish
and Wildlife, anglers can try for landlocked salmon, as wells several types of
trout, bass, and many other species.
And if you're looking for
a day trip, the Grand Isle Fishing Festival in the middle of Lake Champlain is
on the same day!
