ALBANY, N.Y. — An appeals
court heard arguments concerning the constitutionality of the New York SAFE Act
Thursday in Albany.

A panel of four judges at
the mid-level appeals court heard oral arguments by the People and the State
during the morning session which began at 9:30 a.m. Each side had 10 minutes to
speak.

Robert Schulz, for the
People, is appealing Judge McNamara's lower Supreme Court decision that denied
his request for an injunction to stop all activities relating to the
implementation of the SAFE Act.
