Honor Flight kicks off at Albany international Airport

COLONIE,
N.Y. — Thanks to community support, some local WWII veterans were able to fly
to the nation's capital this morning to see a memorial dedicated for their
service.

CENTER's Mark Baker emceed this morning's “Honor Flight” out of Albany International
Airport.

The honor
flight program, fueled by donations by locals, gives veterans the chance to
visit the WWII memorial in Washington D.C.
