ALBANY, N.Y. — Good news
for the Nano College, they're getting a big boost from Governor Cuomo.
The governor announced Thursday
that SUNY's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering will be getting $8.3
million in funding to support the college's institute for nanoelectronics
discovery and exploration, otherwise known as Index.
The governor says the
funding is supporting his push to establish New York as a home for world-class
nanotechnology research and economic growth.
The Index program focuses
on cutting-edge research in the fields of nanotechnology, specifically
replacing chip architecture.
