6 in custody after drug bust in Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Saratoga Springs Police Department says six people were taken into custody after a raid took place at a home on Grand Avenue as part of an on-going narcotics investigation in the city.

Around 5:25 p.m. members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department, NYSP Troopers, K-9 Units, Aviation, Special Operations Response Team
(SORT) and Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) conducted a search
warrant entry at 149 Grand Ave in the City of Saratoga Springs. Entry was made into the home and six people, who police have not named, were taken into custody.

Police say there were no shots fired and there were no injuries during the bust.

They also say Friday night's action brings to a close this particular narcotics
investigation.

More information is expected to be released Saturday.
