Two teens charged with breaking into Gloversville Middle School

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. – Two 16-year-old Gloversville boys have been arrested by police after a burglary was reported at the Gloversville Middle School Saturday night.

The Gloversville Police Department says the two teens caused about $1,341 in damage to the school when they broke into the school through a window in an entry door around 11:30 p.m. on April 6th.

Police say they then stole property from within the school.

The names of the boys have been withheld by police until their youthful offender status is determined.

They have each been charged with Burglary 3rd, Criminal Mischief 3rd, both felonies, and Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor. They were arraigned and released on unsecured bail.
