ALBANY, N.Y. – Four job fairs will be held in New York State Thursday to connect 250 businesses to job-seekers offering 5,000 jobs.

The Dr. King Career Fair events will be held in Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo and Syracuse. The Albany Career Fair starts at 12:30 p.m. and goes until 4:00 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center.

All businesses participating in the career fairs list their job openings on Governor Andrew Cuomo's “Jobs Express” website, located at www.jobs.ny.gov. Job seekers can post their resumes and search through nearly 70,000 jobs with positions available in every region of the state.

Employers can use the website to search through submitted resumes and find highly qualified candidates in their own backyard. They can also post unlimited job openings at no cost.
