ALBANY, N.Y. – Visitors at the New York State Museum can experience spring a bit early during the 22nd Annual New York in Bloom fundraiser which benefits the museum's educational programs for children.
Over 100 floral displays will be positioned throughout the galleries from February 22 through the 24.
The arrangements are created by garden club members, professional designers, interior designers and floral enthusiasts from the Capital District and beyond.
The museum will be open Friday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at a rate of $5 for admission, but children under 12 receive free admission when accompanied by an adult.
Visitors will be able to view several demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday about gardening, design and creating floral arrangements.
