GREENVILLE, N.Y. – The Greene County Sheriff's Office has arrested two teens following an investigation into a larceny of
vehicles from a property on Gayhead-Earlton
Road in Greenville.

The Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old David Mihalko, of Athens, and 18-year-old Vincent Palermo, of Coxsackie, have been arrested after a report of a stolen 1954 pick-up truck that was
observed being taken in the early morning hours on February 5th.

The suspects were allegedly seen driving a newer style white dump truck with the stolen
truck on the trailer. Interviews with the caretaker for the property also revealed that a 1960
dump truck was taken from the property.

Further investigation found that Palermo dropped the 1960 dump truck off
at a scrap yard in Coeymans that morning.

Attempting to locate Palermo,
patrols observed the stolen 1954 pick-up truck on a trailer attached to a white
dump truck at his
residence. Mihalko was also located at
the home where it was determined he had involvement in the thefts, as well.

Both suspects were taken into custody and charged with Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, trespassing and conspiracy, and were remanded to
Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond.

Both vehicles were recovered from the scrap
yard in Coeymans and returned to the owner.
