Flights cancelled to and from Albany due to storm

ALBANY, N.Y. – Arriving and departing flights are being cancelled Friday at Albany Interntional Airport due to the snow storm.

The airport is open and operating, but travelers are advised to check with their airlines to determine the status of their flight. Most airlines are allowing passengers to change their flight without penalty.

The airport reports as of 10:30 a.m. Friday, 27 arriving and 24 departing flights have been cancelled.

Airport crews are working on 12-hour shifts and will continue this schedule throughout the storm, to make sure all runways, taxiways and parking areas are clear.
