ALBANY, N.Y. — As the cold weather continues, so does Albany's “code blue” program, where city police search the streets for the homeless and others needing shelter.

And while officers will be on the search, police are also asking for your help.

If you see someone on the streets of Albany who may need assistance, you're asked to call #438-4000.

Those in need of shelter may go to one of the following
shelters:

  • The Capital City Rescue Mission – 259 South Pearl St.
  • The Homeless Sheridan Hollow Drop-in Center – 26 south Swan St.
