SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (AP) – State officials have revoked the liquor license of a Schenectady nightclub where two people were stabbed during a huge brawl last weekend.
Officials from the state Liquor Authority pulled the license of Club XI at 11 North Broadway on Wednesday.
The move came after two men, both 33, were stabbed when a fight involving more than 100 people erupted inside and outside the nightclub early Sunday morning. They were both hospitalized with stab wounds.
Schenectady police say the crowd was so big they called in mutual aid to get things under control.
No arrests have been made in the stabbings, but police say five people were charged in connection with the fight.
