New changes for Capital Region gun shows

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. – If you frequent gun shows in the capital region, get ready to see a few changes soon.

The office of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced an agreement with two gun show operators today, including NEACA, based out of Saratoga County.

In the agreement, private sellers at their shows will now have to tag all guns to be sold, so they can be monitored to ensure background checks are performed.

This comes a year after the AG charged 10 sellers for failing to run the checks before making sales.
