WARREN COUNTY, N.Y. – On Thursday around noon, a hit and run property-damage motor vehicle accident was reported to the Warren County Sheriffs.
The accident occurred in the area of the northbound exit ramp of I-87, Exit 20.
Police were told that the vehicle that was responsible for the accident, a Chevy Tahoe with Vermont license plates, had fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle was apprehended shortly after the discovery of the accident, near Route 149.
There were two people inside of the vehicle when it was apprehended.
After an investigation, it was revealed that a 24-year-old woman inside of the vehicle had 123 grams of heroin and 63 grams of cocaine in her possession.
24-year-old Corinne L. Vintinner of 60 Austin Drive, Burlington, Vermont, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Vintinner was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court on Friday and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 dollars cash bail.
