ALBANY, N.Y. – Ice skating will return to the Empire State Plaza this year.
State officials hope to have ice down in time for the holiday tree lighting ceremony on December 2.
The rink was open last year after being shut down for two years to save the state money.
Skating is free with your own gear, and skates can be rented for $4 for adults and $3 for children.
The rink will open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
