NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. – The
case against a North Greenbush man accused in the shooting death of his
girlfriend is deepening.
Last December, 57-year-old
Rory Poulin allegedly shot Margaret Jordan in the head.
In addition to a murder
and weapons charge, a grand jury has how slapped Poulin with manslaughter
charges and criminally negligent homicide. The grand jury did so after seeing statements
Poulin made to police.
He said the two had been
arguing for hours, and when he pointed a shotgun at Jordan's head, she told him
to “go ahead and pull the trigger.”
Poulin told police he did
just that – not expecting the gun to go off.
