Two men arrested for stealing a coin-jar from the Schoharie Animal Shelter

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – State Police out of Cobleskill arrested two individuals for stealing a coin-jar belonging to the Schoharie Animal Shelter from the Reinhardt mini-mart in the Town of Richmondville.
 
A report was made on September 10th, that the collection jar had gone missing from the store counter, and a review of the security camera videotape determined that the jar was removed on August 26th by two males.  
 
After an investigation, the two suspects were identified and arrested.
 
Arrested were Thomas G. Tashar, 17, of Main Street, Richmondville, and Zachary K. Ferguson 18, of West Fulton Road, Warnerville. 
 
Both were charged with petit larceny and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Richmondville Court.
