TROY, N.Y. – One year later, family members and friends are remembering Troy mother Ashley Carroll on the anniversary of her disappearance.
Carroll was last seen being dropped off in the West Hills section of Albany near the Nature Preserve, one year ago today. She told friends she was meeting up with her boyfriend in New York City, but that was the last time she was ever heard from.
It is believed she never made the trip down to NYC because personal items she typically would take with her were left home.
A ceremony for Carroll will be held Friday night at 5:00 p.m. at Schuyler Academy in Albany.
