ALBANY, N.Y. — The heads of two New York State agencies are leaving as Governor David Paterson's administration heads toward its final three months.
John Egan, Commissioner of the Office of General Services, is resigning to take a job with a philanthropic organization in Albany. His resignation takes effect October 6
And the Commissioner of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Carol Ash, is resigning October 13. A spokesperson for Ash says she will pursue other park-related advocacy interests after she leaves her position.
