Tedisco says he has plan to save New York’s state parks

Assemblyman Jim Tedisco says he has a plan to save New York's state parks.

Proposed budget cuts would force dozens of parks across the state to close, but Tedisco says they can stay open by requiring inmates to pay for a portion of their incarceration based on a percentage of their total assets.

He says New Yorkers shouldn't lose their parks while criminals enjoy comforts on a taxpayer's dime.
